Good fishing. Red drum in the Spring and Fall. If fishing near the inlet, try to fish the tideline - the transition between the clean ocean water and the muddier water of the sound. Ocean facing beaches to the south good for all kinds of small game. Ocracoke provides for a wide assortment of surf fishing species to target.
